About the Site
From Wild Warwickshire
This site is a project set up and created by M.C Smith. The site is designed as a forum for his research and as a portal for others on the wildlife in Warwickshire.
History
The site was developed in May 2007 but much of the material shown on the site is the work of many years of research and data collection.
Wild Warwickshire was first envisaged to hold the large amount of information on Mute Swans he had collected over the past 6 years. The wiki format allows for people to be able to add their own sightings to the collection.
The site was then expanded to cover all his research interests and it is aimed to develop further into a more complete resource on the wildlife of Warwickshire and Warwick in particular.
The logo was originally designed by S.A Smith his sister for a Distance Learning project he was developing.
Consultancy
The site also acts as a gallery for work produced for various people and as a point of contact and reference for free consultations and advice.
